I am an attorney admitted to the practice of law in Ecuador and New York State and concentrate my practice on Intellectual Property Law, including litigation and arbitration. I regularly counsel clients in the beverage, food, consumer products, retailing, apparel, software and pharmaceutical industries on transactional and contentious matters.
My transactional IP work includes counseling top level management, as well as trademark clearance, patent/trademark prosecution, licensing, enforcement and anti-counterfeiting. My litigation experience in trademark and unfair business (unfair competition) cases specifically includes developing case strategy and arguments before the appeal committees of the Ecuadorian Patent and Trademark Office and the judicial courts.
