With over 17 years of legal practice, Ana is an Intellectual Property and Competition specialist. She has accumulated her wide expertise in IP matters during her eight years with prominent local law firm Musat & Associates, three years with Clifford Chance Bucharest office and five years as partner and IP and Competition Head of Practice with Mares / Danilescu / Mares. With over 14 years’ experience as IP counsellor (Trademarks), certified with the Romanian Office for Inventions and Trademarks (“OSIM”) and being a European Trademarks and Design Attorney (registered with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (“EUIPO”), Ana has assisted both local and international clients in a wide range of IP matters.
Ana’s expertise also includes assisting clients in the advertising, media, PR & communications sector, having significant experience in specific industry-related matters, including representing the clients’ interests in Court or before relevant institutions, such as the Romanian Advertising Council, the Audio-visual National Council, etc.
