Now's your chance to take your revenge on the "Head" of the ASA!

Have you ever been on the receiving end of an ASA decision that you didn't like? Did you feel hard done by when they banned your advertising? Were you aggrieved when they gave the green light to your competitors egregious campaign? And did your mind ever wander towards thoughts of revenge? Well if so, now's your chance!

Guy Parker, the "Head" of the ASA, is raising money for the National Health Service by taking part in the  National Head Shave (NHS - geddit?) challenge to raise money for the NHS Charities Covid-19 Urgent Appeal for NHS staff and volunteers. This is a cause close to Guy's heart, because several members of his immediately family have worked or are working in the NHS.

Guy's plan is to raise as much money as possible, then allow his teenage kids to style his hair any way they like.  They'll be using clippers, so the options are limited.  Either a monk’s tonsure or a reverse Mohican are the current favourites and either sound great to me. Guy will then wear this style for work one day next week, although he is not saying which one, AND holding zoom meetings as normal. After that, the clippers will be out again for an all over buzz cut.

However, if you don't have a zoom meeting fixed with Guy for they right day next week, don't worry, because his portrait will also be on Instagram

If you’re interested in donating, click on the link below. You can mention Guy in the comments, but if you're worried about your future relationship with the ASA, you can also take your revenge anonymously, but still leave a comment.

So well done Guy, and we look forward to seeing the photos!  And here is a 'before' portrait of you, for future reference.

"Whilst we are stuck in our homes, the NHS are putting their lives on the line for us. As you know, a rising number of NHS staff are dying as a result of contracting Covid-19. It’s heart breaking. And for me, as for all of us, it’s personal. I come from a medical family." Guy Parker
