Duncan Grehan is the immediate past Vice Chairman of GALA. He was educated at Trinity College Dublin (BA, LLB) and at Max-Planck-Institut for Private International Law, Hamburg. He is admitted in Ireland as a solicitor since 1980. He is a founding member of GALA. Mr Grehan has been advising on advertising and marketing law issues in Ireland for over 25 years and has lectured frequently in the area. Fluent in English and German he is also the lawyer in Ireland for the embassies of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. A CEDR accredited mediator, he is frequently involved in international commercial dispute litigation and resolution. He was an independent non-executive Director of DePfa Bank Plc, 2009-2013
