Chiara deals with intellectual property and digital rights, in particular trademarks, design, unfair competition, copyright, and image rights, with a focus on retail, fashion, media, and entertainment.
She assists clients in litigation, in ordinary and urgent proceedings and out of court as well, and edits, reviews, and drafts contracts. She also advises on intellectual property issues related to commercial and extraordinary transactions.
She is ranked as an “Associate to watch” by Chambers Global 2024 and Chambers Europe 2024 for Intellectual Property: Copyrights, as a “Rising Star” by IP Stars – Managing IP 2024 and she is mentioned by The Legal 500 EMEA 2024 as a “key lawyer” for the Intellectual Property area.
In 2016 and 2017 she was an assistant in the department of legal studies at Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi di Milano.
She earnerd her law degree in 2015 from the Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi of Milan, defending a dissertation titled “Digital Identity and Digital Legacy: Legal Issues from a Comparative Perspective”.
While completing her university studies, Chiara completed a semester abroad at the Law Department of the Maastricht University, in The Netherlands, participating in the “Themis” international program.
Prior to joining Portolano Cavallo, she worked at an international law firm, first as an intern and then as a trainee lawyer.
