In most countries, trademark law will provide a remedy when a competitor engages in false or misleading comparative advertising. But if your name or logo is not used, and your competitor simply publishes misleading advertising to give itself an unfair competitive advantage, what can you do? Should you go to court? Complain to a regulator? Use a self-regulatory organization's dispute resolution mechanism? In this panel, we'll look at the different options available to brand owners around the world and consider how a coordinated approach can pay dividends.
The conference will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at the Ham Yard Hotel in London. It begins with lunch at 12:30 p.m., and after the program concludes at 6:00 p.m., all attendees are invited to stay for a cocktail party.
